Update Overview
To address the Ongoing Cloud Connectivity Service Degradation, we need to update Cloud DB to increase timeout between Channel Partners and Cloud DB modules.
Release Notes
Timeout increase for Cloud DB to Channel Partners
Implement an increased timeout. Due to network pressure, when a lower timeout occurs, error rates spike.
Will reduce error rate by tolerating slower connections.
Performance Improvements
Enhanced Reliability: During peak load, network pressure causes increased response times, this change will better tolerate slower response times and errors.
Improved User Experience: Less timeouts and errors.
DOWNTIME
The update may cause up to 10 minutes downtime of the following services:
Cloud Portal
Email Notifications
Push Notifications
Channel Partners
Cross-Site Layouts
Connecting to Cloud from Desktop/Mobile Clients
Users already logged in may be affected.
