Update Overview

We are going to perform the Maps update. The new release (2.0.0) will be deployed.

Release Notes

New Features

  • Enhanced Object Detection: Introduced as a newly released feature, object detection has been significantly improved to provide more accurate results across different browsers, ensuring a seamless experience for users.

  • Integration of Paid Plans: We have implemented paid plans to offer users additional features and enhanced functionality tailored to their needs.

  • Browser Usability: NxMaps is now fully usable in the browser, allowing for increased accessibility and convenience for users.

  • Improved functionality for switching between regular and objects modes.

Improvements to Existing Features

  • User Interface Updates: Various UI enhancements for better navigation and usability across the application.

  • Object Calibration Improvements: Improved the user interface for object calibration to provide clearer instructions and better usability.

Bug Fixes

  • Objects are now clickable above all zoom levels, resolving previous visibility issues.

  • Changed "Warning" to "Info" for sites with no services, enhancing clarity.

  • Resolved issues where maps opened from the Org map lacked "Extra features" and the new player.

  • Markers from distant sites no longer flash on the Org map.

  • Device following now correctly cancels with appropriate actions.

  • Added tooltips during calibration for better user guidance.

  • Objects remain visible after switching views (2D/3D/SAT).

  • Fixed display issues for objects after creating or editing calibration.

  • Resolved the issue where the button incorrectly showed "Not Calibrated" for cameras that were just calibrated.

  • Aligned "Object count legend" with the Edit Button for a cleaner layout.

  • Fixed migration prompt issue when opening maps via "Device search."

  • Resolved issues with "Image maps" in the Org map showing devices incorrectly.

  • Clicking on "Map" items in the Org map now correctly jumps to the Map Area.

  • Moving cameras now functions correctly even in "overused" state.

  • Fixed interruptions caused by following moving devices.

  • Corrected service and usage count in the Organization map.

  • Resolved service count reporting issues when switching between sites.

  • Objects with provided coordinates are now visible on the map.

  • Fixed object detection issues in Firefox.

  • Disabled device movement correctly when services are unavailable.

  • Advanced Viewers and below can now accurately get service counts.

  • Set free devices number to 0 as per the new policy.

  • Allowed device removal and map editing in overuse state without adding new devices.

  • Resolved issues with too many devices saved in attributes breaking the Org map.

  • Clicking on Webpage or Map now correctly jumps to marker location.

  • Ensured proper redirection to the correct map after authentication in the browser.
